JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration Opens — Key Dates and How to Apply
NTA has officially announced the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 1. Over 12 lakh students are expected to register for the January session exam.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened registrations for JEE Main 2026 Session 1. The registration window will remain open until November 22, 2025. This is one of the most anticipated announcements for engineering aspirants across India.
Key Dates - **Registration Start:** October 28, 2025 - **Registration End:** November 22, 2025 - **Admit Card Release:** January 15, 2026 - **Exam Dates:** January 22–30, 2026 - **Result Declaration:** February 12, 2026
Application Fee - General/OBC: ₹1,000 (Paper 1 only) - SC/ST/PwD: ₹500
Important Changes in JEE Main 2026 NTA has introduced several changes this year including a revised question pattern with more application-based questions and fewer formula-based ones. The exam will continue to be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
How to Apply Candidates can apply at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Documents needed include Class 10 & 12 mark sheets, Category certificate (if applicable), passport-size photograph, and scanned signature.
Over 11.5 lakh students appeared in JEE Main 2025, and similar or higher numbers are expected this year.
