Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Pune, Maharashtra was established in the year 1978. Earlier known as BMS Parishad’s Law college, the college changed its name to Yashwantrao Chavan Law College in the year 1987, in the memory of our country’s great visionary leader, Late Shri Yashwantrao Chavan. The college provides a variety of UG, PG, and Diploma courses in Legal studies. The admission to its courses is offered on the basis of the marks or rank secured by the candidate in the MH-CET LAW examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Being one of the oldest institutions of the city, over the years the college has created a niche in the field of law education.
