Willingdon College was established on June 22 1919 in the city of Sangli, Maharashtra. The college is named after the then governor of Bombay, Lord Willingdon. The college is affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The college has been successful in providing quality education for about 100 years. At present the college offers various courses at the Bachelors and Masters level. The college is accredited grade ‘ A’ by NAAC and also approved by University Grant Commission (UGC). The vision of the college is to enhance mental growth and development of the students by providing exceptional and quality education.
