Tamil University Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), a new era at Tamil University was established in the year 2005. The Directorate offers 29 Graduate and Postgraduate courses to the candidates. These courses are spread across the Science, Commerce and Arts domains. The courses include B.Ed., M.A., M.Com. MBA, M.Sc., Diploma and PG Diploma. Admissions to all these courses is strictly on the basis of merit of the qualifying examinations. Candidates have to fill the applications forms for various courses of DDE, Tamil University offline at a payment of INR 250.
