Ramdeobaba University (RBU), earlier known as Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), was started in 1984 by the Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti. From the 2024–25 academic session, it officially became a university. It is approved by AICTE and accredited with an “A+” grade by NAAC. RBU is also part of the Government of India’s ‘Study in India’ program and is ranked 49 among engineering colleges in India by India Today in 2024.
