Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Manipal, is the first self-financing private dental college in India established in 1965. It was formerly known as the College of Dental Surgery. MCODS Manipal comes under the aegis of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The college is recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council and Kathmandu University (Nepal). It has been ranked 5th and 2nd best dental college by India Today Ranking 2024 and NIRF Ranking 2024, respectively.
