Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, shortly referred to as KMIO, was established in 1973 in Bangalore. The courses offered at the institute i.e. B.Sc, M.Sc, DNB, Specialty PG, and Super Speciality PG are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Admissions to courses are done on the basis of entrance examinations, counseling sessions, or interviews, differing as per the course. These are conducted by either the affiliating RGUHS or by NBE.
