Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil [KBP] college was established in 1979 and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Under its jurisdiction, the institute has been making strides in academic development as well as improving infrastructure. The institute offers great quality education in 4 different streams namely Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management. These courses are spread over Junior college, undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. levels. It has been reaccredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC in January 2011 with a CGPA of 3.28. It has also been awarded the “Best College Award” for academic excellence by the University of Mumbai.
