K.J. Somaiya College of Education, established in 1990 is a constituent college of the Somaiya Vidyavihar University which offers B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses approved by the NCTE. The college also has two PG Diploma courses in Educational Management and Educational Leadership at the postgraduate level. Additionally, KJ Somaiya College of Education offers a Ph.D. in Education and an MA in Educational Management & Leadership. Admission to the B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs is done based on the candidate's performance in MHT CET/ CUET/ PERA-CET. In contrast, for all other courses, admission is offered based on the candidate's performance in the previous qualifying examination. The college offers internship opportunities to the students right from the beginning of the first semester.
