Jupiter Ayurved Medical College, Nagpur, aims at producing graduates with profound knowledge in the field of Ayurveda with scientific knowledge in accordance with the principals of Ayurvedic care with extensive practical training which would not only make them fully competent Ayurvedic doctors, but also efficient and learned teachers capable of serving the country in terms of medicine and health services. The vision of the Institute is to train its students in the fine art of Ayurvedic medicine which is also a dying practice in the modern medical picture. The institute, established by Gurudas Shikshan Sanstha with permissions of the government of Maharashtra Medical Education and Drugs Department, Mumbai and C.C.I.M, New Delhi and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, is one of the very few Institutes in the field remaining in the country.
