The Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT), established by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India in 2001, is the only institute in Asia offering a B.Tech. in Carpet and Textile Technology. Affiliated with AKTU and approved by AICTE, it aims to provide technical support and skilled manpower to the carpet, textile, and allied sectors. The institute has a good placement record in national and international organisations.
