IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur, was established in 2009 and is one of the leading institutes of the country located in Jaipur. It has been accredited by the NAAC and recognized by UGC. With about 4500 students enrolled in various programs, the university has a total of 14 departments offering UG, PG and Research programs in the fields of the Sciences, Arts and Social Sciences, and Commerce and Management along with several professional courses like Bachelors in Education, Fine Arts, Journalism, etc. This year, the University has also introduced several new professionals and co-educational programs such as Library and Information Science, Forensic Science, and a Diploma in Clinical Psychology.
