It is a private institute which is accredited with an ‘A+’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). HITAM is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
