Government Polytechnic Bhubaneswar was established in 1978. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and has affiliation to the Board of Technical Education, Orissa. The government Polytechnic offers 11 after 10th diploma courses. This Government Polytechnic has provisioned programmes under Community Development Through Polytechnics (CDTP) along with few Modular Employable skills (MES). For admission, the candidates must have passed the HSC examination or 10th exam with recognized board as applicable. Campus of the college is 15 acres vast and has separate boys & girls hostel facility.
