Government Polytechnic Baripada or Government Polytechnic Mayurbhanj situated in Baripada, Mayurbhanj was established in 2015. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Technical Education Department, Odisha (ETET Odisha). The college offers diplomas in four courses in the arena of engineering stream. Admission to all of the courses is done entirely online and is solely based on the marks obtained in 10th- grade examinations. This process is overseen by ETET Odisha. There is an active placement that takes care of the placement needs of all the course pursuing students.
