Gour Banga University is recognized by the University Grants Commission. Gour Banga University, Malda was founded in 2008. At the undergraduate level, Gour Banga University offers degrees in BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, B.Ed., and LLB. There are 23 postgraduate programmes offered by the university, including MA, M.Sc., M.Com., MLIS, and LLM programmes.
