Forest College and Research Institute is a widely known government institute, recognized as an ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) and ICFRE (Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education) accredited government institution with NAAC grade A. The college came into existence in 2016 and offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctorate courses in the discipline of Forestry. FCRI is affiliated with Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University and is accredited with an A* Grade from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, and the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education.
