Farook College (Autonomous), Kozhikode, was established on 12 August 1948 and is managed by Rouzathul Uloom Association. The college has a 72-acre, lush green campus. It is affiliated with the University of Calicut, Malappuram, and it was recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and 12(B) on 29 January 1977 under the Act, 1956. It is re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A+" Grade (CGPA Score 3.51 on a 4 Point Scale in 3rd Cycle) on 16th September 2016. The college also offers the Distance Program Centre under the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. According to the NIRF ranking 2025, Farook College, ranked 101-150 out of 300 in the overall category. The college offers three years of undergraduate and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with various specialisations under the University of Calicut, Malappuram. It also offers Diploma, Ph.D. and Add-On Certificate courses.
