Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) is a state university in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. NTRUHS was established in 1986 and is named for Dr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a former chief minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Government of Andhra Pradesh renamed Dr NTR University of Health Sciences as “Dr YSR University of Health Sciences”.
