Dr. J.J. Magdum College of Engineering (JJMCOE), Kolhapur is one of the colleges established by Dr. J. J. Magdum Trust in 1992 with an objective to promote the cause of higher education. The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra, and is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur (SUK). The college has secured an autonomous-status from 2024-25 and is also ISO-Certified. JJMCOE has earned an 'A' Grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.02 and has also received an ‘A+’ grade for Academic Audit by SUK. Over 150+ of its students have cleared UPSC/MPSC and around 137 are university rankers.
