Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) is an Indian Medical University located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in 2018, though 2020 is considered as establishment year, as that is when the first vice-chancellor was appointed. The university is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). ABVMU offers UG and PG courses in the field of medicine, dental, nursing, and paramedical sciences. Admission to all courses is based on merit in their respective entrance examination.
