Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of law was established in 1945 in order to fulfill the long felt need of Law college in that part of country. The college has taken many initiatives to increase the standards of teaching and research to help the students in building up their career at Bar. The college offers degree in bachelors and masters in LL.B and Ph.D. courses. The college has been renamed as Andhra University, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of law with effect from May 10, 1991.It is one of the oldest law colleges in India.
